Q How much does it cost?

A Membership is completely free and you can swap as many games as you want yourself for free.

Q Can I send you the games and you swap them for me?

A YES YOU CAN this is what we refer to as a secure swap. Simply select 'send to yourgamestreet™' when offering the swap with the other member and follow the instructions on the screen, this does incur a charge of 3 credits.

Q How do we actually swap games?

A Once a swap is accepted the contact details for each member are sent to each other and you arrange to swap. If you chose the send the games to us to swap, no contact details are exchanged and we manage the swap on your behalf.

Q What do I do if the swap is out of my area?

A If the swap is out of your area you have can send the games to us and we swap the games on your behalf, alternatively you can post them direct to the other member.

TIP: If you send anything by 1st or 2nd class, i.e. not recorded delivery, and get a 'postal receipt' and the game doesn’t arrive the other end, you can claim the full value of the game back from The Royal Mail.

Q Where do I send the games if you are swapping them for me?

A You send the games to: Your Game Street, Unit 1, Beggars Roost, Butts Road, Swindon, SN4 0NN

Q Should I send my game recorded delivery or standard mail if it's out of my area?

A This is down to personal preference.

If you would like to be able to track progress or have proof of delivery then send your game recorded
delivery, we don’t recommend 1st class recorded as 2nd class is just as quick nowadays.

If you are happy to send the game by standard 2nd class post you can save yourself some money, and as
long as you get a ‘postal receipt’ available from any post office, if the game doesn’t arrive the other end
Royal Mail will refund the value of the game to you.

Q What information is sent when a swap is accepted?

A The ONLY information exchanged ONCE a swap is accepted is your name, email and phone number (if given at registration).

Q What happens if nobody wants to swap for the game I want?

A This is unlikely as yourgamestreet ™ constantly matches games wanted with the games available for swap. As new games are listed we let you know straight away so you can offer to swap.

Q What are credits?

A Credits are a method of payment. to do a straight forward swap you do not require to use any credits. if you choose a secure swap this will cost 3 credits. Prices are 1 credit is £1.00, 5 credits are £4.00 10 credits are £7.00

Q I can't find the game I want to list?

A This is unlikely but if you cannot find the game you want to list you can email us at and we will add the game you want within 48hrs then let you know so you can list.

Q What does the Match button do?

A When you click on the Match button, yourgamestreet™ searches our entire database for the members you can be matched with to make a swap. The results will be brought back to you in distance order, nearest first and hopefully in your street!

Q Do my credits get reduced when I offer a swap?

A The credits will only be deducted from your account once the both parties have accepted the offer.

Q What happens if I change my mind about the swap after it’s been accepted...

A The other person is within their rights to give you a low feedback score. Yourgamestreet™ recommends you get in touch with that person straight away and explain why you can’t swap.

Q The person I sent the swap request to hasn’t accepted, can I swap the game with another member?

A You can cancel your swap at any time if the other member has not accepted. After this you are free to swap the game with another member.

Q How do I get in touch with yourgamestreet™?

A You can email us at or please see our contact us page for further details.

Q Will you share my details with other people?

A We will not share your details with anyone. The only details sent out once a swap is accepted is your name, email and phone number (if given at registration). You consent for this when you offer a swap, details are exchanged when the other member accepts.

Q What does my feedback score mean?

A This is the feedback other users have given you following a swap. If you were honest and the game is as you say, and you swapped it when you said you were going to they will score you highly. If the game wasn’t as expected and you were trying to pass off a game that doesn’t work, or you were unreliable in making the swap you will get a middle or low score.

TIP: Honesty on is the best policy as your feedback score is part of who you are on yourgamestreet™, the higher your score the more you will be trusted by other members and the more swap offers you will get. Value your score as if you get a poor feedback score it is unlikely that members will offer to swap with you.

Q Another question?

A If we haven’t covered of a question you have please email us at and we’ll get straight back to you.

Yourgamestreet™ Advice - Swapping games is much the same as buying anything second-hand but a lot cheaper - FREE. You should use common sense and always swap with someone else present. Or if you are prefer use our ‘send it to us service’ and we will swap the games for you.

Happy Swapping
